Business Development Manager – Harrogate - £50k + company car + bonus + excellent benefits

Our client is a well-established supplier of workwear, uniform and PPE solutions based near Harrogate, due to continued growth and expansion they are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and onboard new customers through proactive lead generation and strategic outreach.
• Develop and execute a field-based sales strategy, spending 3 to 4 days per week meeting potential clients face-to-face.
• Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with prospective clients, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of the company’s products and services.
• Conduct thorough fact-finding and discovery meetings to provide tailored solutions that address client needs.
• Deliver sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals to achieve revenue targets.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and exceptional client experiences.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions within the CRM system.

Requirements:

• A proven track record in business development or field sales, with demonstrable success in acquiring new clients and achieving targets.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A consultative sales approach, with the ability to understand client needs and tailor solutions effectively.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy schedule efficiently.
• The flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and a fast-paced environment.
