Summary
The job entails the incumbent to assist the proprietor (a Chartered Accountant) in the preparation of statutory accounts for Limited Companies and accounts for self-employed clients.
The job will entail using spreadsheets and accounting software packages eg Sage and Quickbooks.
Also a working knowledge of IRIS professional software would be useful but not essential as on job training will be provided.
This firm is a professional practice offering accountancy and taxation advice to clients, so the right candidate will have experience of working in a professional office with a positive attitude to the clients, understanding the confidential nature of the professional client relationship.
Initially the hours will be part time to suit the applicant, but may increase again by mutual agreement.
