We're looking to recruit an experienced HR Manager for our bustling urban Radisson Blu Cardiff hotel for a Flexible, part time position.

A day in the life of…

As HR Manager, you will oversee all admin tasks and be the first line of contact for our colleagues, ensuring a robust recruitment and retention strategy is implemented within the business. You will oversee payrolls for all employees, ensuring renumeration is calculated correctly in line with legal requirements and work with HOD’s and management to ensure all colleagues are correctly onboarded and inducted into the business. Finally, you ensure all colleague training is up to date and a culture of team engagement is fostered throughout the business.

This role is unlike any other in our hotel and offers development opportunities across working with all other departments. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring that guests have a first class enjoyable and comfortable stay.

What do we need from you?

  • Excellent organisational skills: In this role, no two days are the same, so you’ll need skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain accurate records, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills: You should have strong communication skills to interact with employees, managers, and external stakeholders. This could be in person, over the phone, and through email.
  • Attention to detail: You should have a keen eye for detail to ensure that all employee records, contracts, and paperwork are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Knowledge of HR policies and procedures: We’re looking for you to have a good understanding of HR policies and procedures, including recruitment, payroll, training, and employee relations to be able to relay decisions to the team and support the management structure at the hotel
