We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our expanding Performance & Business Transformation Team, within Adult Social Care. As we move towards integration of Health and Social Care, we are seeking someone who really understands Adults Social Care and the development requirements for the social care workforce. The main purpose of this role is to ensure that our Social Care workforce provide a high-quality service to our residents in compliance with CQC standards to meet the changing needs of local people using Social Care services.
Key Duties will include:
- Design/deliver/source bespoke training
- Develop competency assessment toolkits to ensure compliance with national standards and inspection frameworks
- Conduct audits and mock inspections against inspection frameworks
- Identify areas of risk and identify opportunities for learning and improvement
- Develop and track action plans to drive progress
- Celebrate and share areas of good practise
- Stay up to date with emerging Social Care and Health agendas
- Provide support and advice to colleagues on care related queries
- Collaborate with BwD Regulated Care Services, Workforce Development, and CQC Assurance Teams to ensure business processes and procedures remain up-to-date and consistently followed
- Provide proactive and supportive compliance service across various locations in BwD, including remote working, to ensure our services meet statutory regulations and deliver the highest standard of safe and quality care
