Summary
Van driver - 6 months minimum commercial van driving experience with references needed
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Van driver to work with an important company in Tamworth area. This will be working for one of the UK's biggest food production companies.
Shift Patterns:
- AM Monday to Saturday with a rolling rest date / Start times around 04:30
- PM Sunday - Friday with a rolling rest date / start times between 12:00 - 14:00
- Temp to perm opportunities after 12 week contract basis
Pay Rates
- £12.30 - £13.45 standard
- £15.38 - £16.00 overtime (after 42 hours)
- Increases by 50p after 12 weeks
As a Van Driver you will need to have:
- 6 months minimum commercial van driving experience with references
- UK full driving licence / No points
Role of a Van driver
- Multidrop work of fresh sandwiches to local shops, supermarkets petrol stations etc.
- Handball of sandwiches and food goods in pallets. This includes loading the van to unloading at each drop.
- 20 -30 drops average per shift
