Summary
The Faculty of Future Technology & Design are looking for an experienced individual to deliver HND level Illustration courses to a diverse range of students across a number of levels.
The post holder will work closely with the Curriculum Manager to provide high quality learning and assessment opportunities that will enhance learning and teaching with a strong learner focus.
You will be educated to SCQF Level 8 or have relevant professional equivalent in the specialist area of illustration, or significant relevant experience in the specialist areas of printmaking (Mono printing, Drypoint, Screen printing), figure and portrait painting, and life drawing. Digital knowledge would be an advantage but not essential. As an academic member of staff of Glasgow Clyde College, you will aid excellence in learning through the preparation and delivery of high-quality learning, teaching, and assessment materials, and by supporting learners.
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, work to their initiative and relate well to student groups. With excellent organizational skills and a proven ability to work under pressure, candidates must have a flexible and can-do attitude to work and be qualified in their preferred subject area. We are looking for candidates who have skill and experience in illustration/art both traditional and digital.
