Summary

Mechanical Project Manager (M&E Experience Essential)
Location: Norwich

Our client, a leading player in the construction and engineering industry, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager with extensive Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) experience. This is a permanent, site-based role located in Norwich, offering a competitive salary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all mechanical aspects of M&E projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
• Lead project teams, including contractors, engineers, and site staff, ensuring effective coordination and communication across all parties.
• Prepare project schedules, forecasts, and financial reports, ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed of progress and any potential risks.
• Manage on-site health and safety, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors, providing technical advice and resolving issues as they arise.
• Ensure that all M&E systems are installed and tested to meet design specifications and quality standards.
• Oversee procurement and material management, ensuring timely delivery of resources to site.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience in managing M&E projects within the mechanical engineering or construction sectors.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and pipework, as well as electrical integration.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities, capable of driving project teams to success.
• Proficient in project management software and relevant industry tools.
• A valid CSCS card and SMSTS certification would be advantageous.
