We are looking for an experienced food production operative to join a well-known client in the Cropwell Bishop area.
Your main responsibility will be to guarantee that milk is processed within the established legal safety parameters to be able to then make high-quality cheese.
This is a physical role that requires full range of motion, and endurance capacity.
This role requires outdoor work all year round
The ability to follow strict health and safety guidelines and quality procedures
Spotting any defects in the pasturing process, reacting to issues, and liaising with appropriate team members
To familiarise oneself with and adhere to all hygiene protocols related to the role, including the Dairy Entry Procedure.
To be considered for this role you must have food production experience and be able to demonstrate this on your CV.
This is ongoing.
You must also be flexible as you will be working on a 7-day rota, so the days off will vary weekly, meaning you will have to work weekends. Due to the location of the role, you must either drive or be local to be able to get there for the required time.
The shifts are 04:00 until 12:00, but this is 1 in 3 weeks, the other 2 weeks you will be working in the dairy department and working 06:30 - 15:00.
The rate of pay is £12.50 per hour for non experienced and £15.50 per hour for experienced.
