The Best Connection Group - Manchester is currently recruiting a Glass Cutter for our client, a market leader in their industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected company on a temporary to permanent basis.
Position Details:
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (no weekend work) 8:00 AM - 4:45 PM (Job and finish, so you could finish earlier depending on workload) Salary: First 3 months (probation period): £12.22 per hour (£24,225 per year) After successful probation completion: £12.86 per hour (£25,500 per year) Role Responsibilities: Operate a Bottero automatic cutting table Manual handling of materials Work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Accurately cut glass to specifications Adhere to health and safety standards at all times Requirements: Previous experience operating a Bottero cutting table Comfortable with heavy lifting Experience in a glass production environment Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting Knowledge of health and safety protocols Benefits: Full PPE provided Company Pension Scheme 24 days annual leave No weekend work On-the-job training in manual handling, overhead crane, shunter, and banksman operations If youre looking for a fresh start in 2025 and want to be part of a reputable company, send your CV to us today and take the first step toward a rewarding new role!
