Summary
Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity for a CAD/CAM Operator to join our client's team in East Kilbride.
Pay rates: £30,000 - £34,000 per annum (DOE)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:20am to 4:20pm with an early finish on Fridays!
Our client is a well-established manufacturer of a variety of products from retail signage to digital signage and branding. As a CAD/CAM Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Producing rough sketches and using CAD software to prepare detailed drawings, plans, and blueprints
- Communicating potential design issues/specifications to engineers and architects
- Conducting research when required
- Implementing any changes to drafts as soon as possible
The successful CAD/CAM Operator will have:
- Experience from using AutoCAD
- Experience with 3D SolidWorks Software
- Completed courses in CAD (beneficial)
- Superb work ethic and the ability to take on constructive feedback
- Knowledge of engineering
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
