As a Court Security Officer, you'll be at the heart of ensuring the safety and security of a critical public space, where the protection of people, property, and assets is paramount. If you're a dedicated security professional with an eye for detail and a passion for maintaining order, this role offers you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the justice system while developing your skills further.

Main DutiesOperations:
-Ensure Compliance: Stay fully up to date and compliant with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies, as directed by the Security Account Manager and in accordance with UK law.

-Complete Tasks Effectively: Execute all tasks and duties as defined in the Assignment Instructions (AI's), with full attention to detail and a proactive approach to any necessary changes or improvements.

-Maintain Licences: You must hold a front-line licence in either Security Guarding or Door Supervision and ensure that it is always valid and up to date. A CCTV PSS SIA Licence is also required for this role, along with other contractually required courses.

Training & Development:
-Continuous Learning: Fully engage in all necessary training programs to ensure competency and self-improvement. Stay committed to ongoing professional development.

-Leverage Technology: Use technology effectively to achieve key objectives, while continuously advancing your knowledge and skills to excel in your role.

-Licence Renewal: Be proactive in ensuring that your licence is renewed well in advance of its expiration (16 weeks before expiry).

Security and Health & Safety
-Vigilance: Always be on the lookout for any potential Health & Safety hazards on-site and take immediate action when required to prevent disruption, damage, or harm.

-Situational Awareness: Stay alert to any changes or threats within your work environment, and respond with quick, decisive action to minimize risk.

-Professional Conduct: Maintain a high level of professionalism, particularly in the face of difficult situations or challenging individuals.

-Accurate Reporting: Complete detailed notebook entries and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring clear documentation of any issues.

-Scheduled Checks: Ensure check calls are made at the designated times, as per the Assignment Instructions (AI's).

-Emergency Response: Call emergency services and communicate with the Communication Centre promptly when incidents occur.

What We're Looking For:
-Security Expertise: Previous experience in security is essential, allowing you to step into this role with confidence and competence.

-SIA Licence: A valid SIA Licence is required for this role.

-SC Clearance: SC Clearance is desirable and will enhance your suitability for this position.
