Summary
As Multi Drop Delivery Driver you will report to the Warehouse Manager and will be responsible for multi customer drops to fulfil customer orders.
The safe and efficient receipt, movement and storage of goods via company vehicle and manifest, maintenance of POD paperwork
To maintain the vehicle in a roadworthy condition and adhere to all DVSA regulations
To plan the most effective and efficient routes to suit delivery schedule and to minimise diesel usage where possible
To work efficiently and safely in the operation of machinery to lift and load material onto wagon to driver’s manifest provided
To assist in the management of stock in the warehouse through good housekeeping and maintenance of quality control procedures when not driving
To collect customer payments when required and to pass on to admin or management upon return
To work as part of a team with warehouse operatives to load and unload materials in timely fashion
To show courtesy and be helpful to customers/suppliers when collecting, delivering or returning materials to warehouse
delivering to London, South Coast and Midlands will be required.
Multi drop driving experience is ESSENTIAL.
