About the Role:
We are seeking a Property Planner with a passion for residential and commercial development to join our dynamic team. You will play a pivotal role in coordinating and managing planning applications, ensuring the success of projects from inception to approval. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with excellent knowledge of the planning process, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering results.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning Applications: Prepare and submit planning applications for residential and commercial developments, ensuring compliance with local and national planning policies.
Feasibility Studies: Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate development potential and identify risks.
Stakeholder Liaison: Work closely with local authorities, clients, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth progression of applications.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on planning laws and regulations, ensuring projects adhere to relevant guidelines.
Documentation: Prepare, review, and manage planning-related documents, including design and access statements, site layouts, and supporting technical reports.
Project Management: Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure timely completion of deliverables and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Community Engagement: Participate in public consultations and community engagement initiatives as required.
Qualifications and Skills:

Degree in Planning, Geography, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in a property planning role, with a strong understanding of residential and commercial development.
Familiarity with local planning processes and regulations.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in planning and design software (e.g., CAD, GIS) is desirable but not essential.
