Role Overview:
• Position: Graduate Geography Teaching Assistant
• Subjects: Geography (2:1 degree in a relevant subject preferred)
• Start Date: Immediate
• Pay: Up to £550 per week
• Location: Secondary school in Wolverhampton with excellent public transport links
• Commitment: Full-time, long-term Graduate Geography Teaching Assistant position
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students preparing for their GCSEs and A Levels.
• Collaborate with an experienced Geography department to deliver engaging and impactful lessons.
• Assist in lesson planning and help develop strategies to support students of varying abilities.
• Gain hands-on classroom experience and valuable guidance from skilled educators to set you up for a successful teaching career.
What We’re Looking For:
• Academic background: A 2:1 or higher in a Geography degree or related field.
• Experience with children: Previous experience in paid or voluntary roles is desirable but not essential.
• Enthusiastic and driven: A passion for helping students reach their full potential.
• Strong communication skills: Able to engage and inspire students through a dynamic curriculum.
