We are working in partnership with a Secondary school in Dudley who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Business Studies Teacher to join their team in January 2025. This is a full-time and long-term role until the end of January with the possibility of extending.
You will have an opportunity to work in a fantastic, inclusive and supportive Secondary School in Dudley. They have brilliant facilities with modern classrooms, and have recently received a 'Good' in their latest Ofsted report. Having spent time with the Principal and touring the school first-hand, the school's culture is impressive and they have responsive and supportive SLT.
Due to this being a long-term role, full teaching responsibilities will be required, including planning and marking. You must be a qualified teacher (ECTs are welcome to apply).
Your new role
- Delivering engaging and creative Business Studies KS4 and Computer Science KS3 lessons
- Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
- Contributing to the development of the department's curriculum.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT's welcome to apply.
- Recent experience teaching at secondary school level in the UK.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
