An exciting opportunity to work at an OFSTED Outstanding Special School.We are seeking to appoint a Receptionist/Administrator in our busy and vibrant front office on Briarwood Junior and Sixth Form Site in Fishponds.Briarwood has a dedicated team of staff, governors and parents/carers who are proud to support 167 children and young people aged 3 to 19 years and are passionate about their progress, happiness and care. You will be required to provide receptionist duties and be a point of contact for parents and visitors, along with providing administrative support for the completion of efficient support services in the running of the school, as well as ensuring information flows are effective. Experience and knowledge of working in an education setting is desirable.

The post is 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 8.15 am to 4.15 pm and Friday 8.30am to 4.00pm (which includes a 30 minute unpaid lunch break). Term time only, working 39 weeks (including 5 inset days), 13 weeks school holidays of which 6.6 weeks are paid as annual leave. No entitlement to annual leave during term time. £21,341 to £22,154 (Actual Salary) depending on local government continuous service.NB: We are unable to sponsor visas for this role as it does not meet the required criteria for sponsorship
