Summary

This position requires someone to lead a team of three AO grade Civil Servants through remote working, assuring the quality of work and output, team performances, communication, implementing and supporting training, ensuring team objectives are met; whilst implementing and maintaining an effective performance management system.
Overall co-ordination of administrative support for multiple Eagles schemes and Force Development Facilitators Courses in accordance with MOD Policy, RAF Policy and direction.
Stakeholder collaboration to agree Service Level Agreements, objectives and collaborative arrangements. Identifying which collaborative relationships should be built and developed, considering stakeholders’ advice and creating a climate of mutual trust and respect by being open and honest. Whilst addressing changes that may influence stakeholders and stakeholder relationships.
Working closely with other departments, both internal to the MOD and externally to achieve organisational goals. Collaborating closely with Res Wg HQ, course leads, instructors and Eagles Admin Team to ensure dissemination of details are relevant, accurate and in line with Res Wg / MOD policy and processes.
Prepare and manage aspects of internal and stakeholder meetings, which may include managing the agenda, the taking and distributing of meetings notes and actioning post meeting matters.
Project management: understanding the roles of people involved, implement procedures which are aligned to scheme requirements, collecting and recording information and overseeing the Spec Training administration whilst being able to enhance delivery of the process and systems.
Decision making; being able to analyse potential impacts to customers / stakeholders. This will also involve evaluating and aligning with objectives, values and polices to attain scope and success criteria. Being able to address issues that may hamper achievement of targets and quality standards and assessing business risks associated with change.
To continually update and review the Res Wg Eagles SharePoint site and review the utility of developing technology to support Eagles outputs.
Provide ad-hoc cover for other team members including, but not limited to, the Res Wg Eagles Admin Team, ensuring a handover of tasks on departure and return.
Filing and archiving of all relevant documents in accordance with current MOD policies.
Act as a first point of contact for general administration support as and when required. This may involve chasing up outstanding information and updating nominal roll details during busy periods.
Ensure and respect all other team members for their particular role and duties and understand the Res Wg Eagles Admin Teams common set of goals and how to enhance the overall result with your contribution.
Support personnel and staff throughout RAR when required or tasked to by OC Res Wg or 2IC Res Wg.
