Summary
Job: Mobile Gas EngineerLocation: This is a field-based, mobile position covering Teesside, Durham, Sunderland, Newcastle, and Co Durham.
Salary up to £42,000- dependent on qualifications and experience
We are looking for an experienced Mobile Gas Engineer to undertake the maintenance and repair of the Gas Plant, including fabric & basic
Electrical
Tasks for buildings as required under contract. You must ensure all PPM and Reactive tasks are completed to the required
Legislative
Standards and all required paperwork are completed and submitted within timescales.
You must have a strong customer care focus, good communication skills and proactive skills.
You should be able to anticipate and/or diagnose and repair faults. You must be capable of completing essential paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.Requirements:
- You must hold commercial gas qualifications.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience is required in a role as a commercial gas engineer.
- Full driving licence
- The ideal candidate would be qualified to City & Guilds Level II/III or equivalent in a relevant disciplinary role. You must have experience of maintenance, testing & fault-finding on a variety of equipment such as boiler plant, ventilation, pumps, generators, switchgear, cables, batteries, small power and lighting (where applicable). You should have strong knowledge of Health & Safety and safe working practices.
