Summary


Hurst Place is a Stepdown Rehabilitation Unit, providing mental health rehabilitation for male patients with serious and enduring mental illness and complex needs. We are a 15 bedded unit which is part of the Rehabilitation and High Support Hub.

We are an innovative service provider committed to working with a variety of partners to provide high quality care and are currently working towards getting AIMs accredited.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor, full time at 37.5 hrs per week, working in an In-patient stepdown rehabilitation setting .This role will involve working with individuals who have serious mental health conditions. You will work closely with the Occupational Therapists to meet patient orientated goals and support progression through a recovery pathway.



We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor who is person-centered in their approach and enthusiastic about working within a recovery focused environment that offers empowerment for our patients. We support patients to build on their strengths, remain positive about their lives and provide support to transition from an inpatient environment to the community.

Successful applicants should demonstrate the ability to maintain high standards of patient care and be responsible for the promotion and application of Occupational Therapy with support from a qualified Occupational Therapist. You will need a specific interest in working in a busy, challenging and complex setting.
