Summary
Automotive Parts Office Clerk | Southend-on-Sea | 42.5 hour week – including 30 min lunch breaks and two 15 minute tea breaks| £23,795.00 per annum – review after 6 months
With over 30 years of expertise in the classic car industry, our client is a respected and well-established company renowned for its passion for classic vehicles and exceptional customer service.
They are now looking for an organised and proactive Automotive Parts Office Clerk to join their dynamic team and ensure smooth daily operations.
Are you the right person for the job?
• Detail-oriented and customer-focused
• Knowledge and understanding of QuickBooks software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and other office applications
• Experience with website promotions and digital marketing
What will your role look like?
• Delivering outstanding customer service to clients via phone, email, and in person
• Performing general administrative tasks, including managing invoicing, following up on outstanding payments, scheduling car services, and processing payments promptly
• Logging, organising, and managing stock parts, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Inspecting delivered and returned stock for damages before updating the inventory system
• Identifying opportunities to inform, promote and sell car parts (including during calls with clients, garages and advertising on the webpage and emails)
