Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Technician Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing vehicle issues, providing accurate repair estimates, sourcing parts, and performing high-quality repairs. You will also assess damage and refer vehicles to specialist technicians when necessary. This role requires a proactive individual with technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and Repair

Conduct thorough inspections to identify mechanical, electrical, and structural issues in vehicles.
Provide accurate repair cost estimates, including labor and parts.
Parts Sourcing

Source and procure required parts from approved suppliers, ensuring quality and compatibility with vehicle models.
Damage Assessment

Evaluate the extent of damage to determine repair needs and feasibility, particularly in accident cases.
Specialist Referrals

Identify complex mechanical issues and refer vehicles to specific expert technicians as necessary.
Repair and Maintenance

Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake checks, and tire replacements.
Undertake major repairs, including engine and transmission work, based on expertise.
Customer Communication

Explain diagnostic results, repair options, and timelines clearly to customers.
Keep customers informed on the status of their vehicle throughout the repair process.
Quality and Safety Assurance

Adhere to safety standards and manufacturer specifications in all repair work.
Test vehicles post-repair to ensure proper functionality and reliability.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a vehicle mechanic or similar role.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of automotive systems, tools, and repair techniques.
Ability to source and procure parts efficiently.
Excellent communication skills for customer interaction.
Certification in automotive repair (preferred but not required).
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Valid driver’s license.
