Static Mechanical Engineer - Basingstoke

Are you a skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer looking for a stable and rewarding role with a competitive salary and excellent benefits?

We are seeking a highly competent and reliable Static Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Basingstoke. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical systems and equipment within our offices.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on a range of mechanical systems and equipment, including:

* Pumps, compressors, and HVAC systems
* Conveyor systems and other material handling equipment
* General plant and machinery

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems
  • Carry out repairs and installations of mechanical components and systems
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
  • Work independently and as part of a team


What You'll Need:

  • A proven track record as a mechanical engineer with a minimum
  • A strong understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • A City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems (desirable)


What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary of up to £39,000 per year (depending on experience)
  • Monday to Friday working hours (8am - 5pm)
  • 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays
