We are looking for a passionate, experienced Children's Home Registered Manager to lead a transitional home for children moving from secure homes, or unregulated provisions. This role offers the opportunity to drive an innovative project that makes a real difference in children's lives.

About the Role:
The home offers six flexible beds, with two integrated two-bedroom apartments and a main house with four beds. A small on-site school supports children's transition to mainstream education. You will lead a skilled team, including a Deputy Manager and administrative staff, to create a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management - Ensure the home meets and exceeds Ofsted standards.
  • Team Leadership - Inspire and develop a high-performing team.
  • Child-Centred Care - Foster a safe, caring environment that prioritises each child's needs.
  • Compliance & Safety - Oversee budgets, health and safety, and legal requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement - Contribute to the strategic development of the service.

What You'll Bring:
Proven experience managing an Ofsted Registered Children's Home.
Strong leadership skills and resilience.
A commitment to high standards and supporting children with complex needs.

Qualifications:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards).
  • Relevant social care or childcare qualification.
