About Us:

At HiHo Nursery, we pride ourselves on providing a small, homely, and comforting environment for children and their families. Our baby room accommodates up to 6 babies at one time, ensuring that each child gets the care and attention they need. We foster a strong sense of community, with each team member bringing their unique skills and experience to enrich the lives of our little ones.

The Role:
 As a Baby Room Leader, you will:
* Create a safe, stimulating, and loving environment for babies aged 3 months to 2 years.
* Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
* Observe and assess children’s progress, sharing insights with parents/carers.
* Lead and support, ensuring the best care practices are followed.
* Build strong, trusting relationships with families.
* Comply with nursery policies and ensure the room meets health and safety standards and safeguarding regulations.

What We're Looking For:
* Qualifications: You must be Level 3 qualified in Early Years Education with some experience working with babies.
* Leadership Potential: We’re looking for someone who can lead our baby room with care and responsibility, this will be available through training and induction.
* Caring and Attentive: We need someone who truly loves working with young children, especially in their crucial first years.
* Reliable and Punctual: It’s important to be dependable and able to commit to the hours required.
* Team Player: You will be leading the baby room and collaborating with the wider nursery team, so strong teamwork skills are essential.

Hours and Pay:
* Hours: 33.5-38.5 hours per week, with flexible working options (4 or 5-day week).
* Wage: £12.50-£13 per hour.
