Summary
The Best Connection are currently looking out for multiple 7.5tn drivers for their client based in Dartford. You will be tasked with the delivery of furniture and household goods to customer's homes in the South East corner. As you will be delivering to customers homes, a level of customer facing skills would be required as you would be acting as the face of the business.
Driving experience would be beneficial but newer qualified C1 or C drivers would be considered.
Position Details:
Schedule: Monday to Saturday deliveries, but expect a 4 day week. 6am start, 10 hour days.
Location: Based in Dartford, delivering across Kent and Southeast London.
Pay rates: £16.43 per hour (PAYE). Overtime rates are also available at £24.65 per hour after working 41 hours in a week.
Duties include:
Driving a 7.5T vehicle during your shift times. Delivering and installing furniture to customer's homes in and around the London and South East areas. The role will involve heavy lifting due to the products that you will be delivering. Assistance will be given with a drivers mate who will assist with both delivery and installation. Providing exemplary customer service when coming face to face with customers.
To be considered for this role you will need: Previous Driving experience (preferably 7.5T vehicle driving). Cat C1 Licence. Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card with understanding of cards. Good knowledge of London & Kent would be desirable. Good English as you will be delivering to customers. Benefits & Requirements:
