Summary
In-patient care The Spine Fellow (SF) will be responsible to the two consultants in spine surgery and for maintaining continuity of in-patient care for spinal surgery patients. They will also be expected to do weekends on call for general trauma on a 1: 4 rota, if required (there is additional remuneration available for this). Outpatients & Theatres The SF will attend the outpatient clinics and operating lists of the spinal consultants. They will be also be required to undertake some independent follow-up clinics and independent injection lists. The SF will be a member of the spinal MDT and will support the spinal consultants with progressing actions arising from MDT and MSK mentoring.
