The Personal Assistant role is to provide organisational and administrative support to the Hospital Director and the Director of Clinical Services including acting as the primary contact for all enquiries, managing and coordinating all diary commitments, contributing to meetings, and providing overall assistance in the day-to-day running of the department. The role requires substantial discretion, diplomacy, sound judgement and personal integrity.

As Personal Assistant you will:

  • Act as ambassador for the department internally and externally

  • Have the line management responsibility for Hospital Admin Support (Employees) and Hospital Admin Support (Consultants)

  • Filter, redirect and respond to Director's written correspondence as necessary. These may often be of a complex or confidential nature requiring tact and diplomacy

  • Producing documents/information…. transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, data, graphics etc

  • Maintaining accurate records

  • Prioritising

  • Maintain the utmost level of confidentiality at all times

  • Work on own initiative
