Summary

Working hours: 20 hours per week, working 10am to 2pm Monday to Friday (banking 16 minutes towards the shut down between Christmas and New Year)

We are looking to recruit a permanent part-time employee working 20 hours per week.

We are looking for a motivated individual to work with frail older people in a day centre setting. The post holder will work as part of a team, delivering high quality care and support.

Duties will include escorting service users to and from the centre on specially adapted vehicles; supporting with refreshments and lunch; undertaking personal care; supporting with activities in the centre and in the community; record keeping; monitoring and decision making.

The ability to communicate effectively is essential. The successful applicants will need to be flexible, able to work under pressure and have good organisational and admin skills.

On occasion you may be required, at very short notice, to work any time between our opening hours to cover staff holiday or sickness. Our operating hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.45pm.
