Summary


This post is a key leadership role within the Specialist Operations Department with an overarching responsibility of all HART staff, vehicles and equipment. As a member of the department management team you will be accountable and responsible for the delivery of service across both stations to financial, performance, and quality and people standards

• Delivery of agreed performance standards as provided by the General Manager
• Delivery of Professional Updates to all staff in line with corporate guidance.
• Delivery of Operational Workplace reviews in line with corporate guidance.
• Delivery of Personal Development Reviews and Personal Development plans annually to all eligible staff.
• Managing performance improvement of staff.
• Setting and managing of objectives for your staff.
• Managing absence and abstractions in line with policy and procedures.
• Meeting and improving upon key performance, quality and personal targets contributing to the achievement of the service plan.
• Improving employee satisfaction results as measured by the staff survey, notably engagement and communications.
• Improving staff wellbeing, staff retention and attendance through compassionate leadership.
• Meeting patient and internal complaints targets focusing on continuous improvement by actively implementing improvements learned from outcomes.
• Managing risk in line with corporate guidance
• Achieving financial balance within the allocated budget.
• Be part of a 24/7 on call rota as a specialist tactical advisor / NILO
