Required Qualifications

Valid D1 driving license (D1+E preferred)

No more than 6 penalty points on driving record

Valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)

Digital tachograph card

Experience driving mini buses or similar vehicles

Holding a Carmarthenshire taxi badge is a strong advantage

Excellent knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations

Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service

Flexibility and adaptability to changing schedules and routes

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities
Safely operate mini buses for rail, school, and private hire contracts

Ensure the comfort and safety of passengers at all times

Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify and report any issues

Maintain accurate records of driving hours, mileage, and passenger counts

Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies

Provide excellent customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns

Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, especially those with mobility challenges

Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained, both inside and out

Collaborate with dispatch to ensure timely arrivals and departures

Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance driving skills
