Summary
Assist in the provision of care to patients, supporting and being supervised by a registered nurse. Assist patients with all activities of daily living. Assists qualified staff by undertaking personal care duties for patients. Reports patients condition to qualified staff. Full range of manual and clerical duties. Will be required to maintain the orderliness and hygiene and safety of the ward/departmental environment.
• To assist with patient care needs under the supervision of a trained nurse.
• Carry out nursing duties as assigned by trained staff
• To work with the nursing staff to deliver individualized nursing care.

• To report to a trained nurse care given to patients.
• Assist patients with their dietary needs as directed by a trained nurse.
• Participate in the admission and discharge of patients in conjunction with the multi-professional team as directed by a trained nurse.
