Summary

We are looking for a talented Fundraiser to bring a fresh and innovative approach to our growing team. The post-holder will help us broaden our approach to securing fundraised income in order to support our work in a range of ways, they will also help us to record and analyse our social impact. The successful candidate will be an organised, confident and motivated person, who finds purpose in, and recognises the importance of, their role within the wider team, and the value that brings to our organisation.

Working alongside the Head of Fundraising our Fundraising and Social Impact Officer will be adept at preparing and submitting compelling and persuasive fundraising applications to grant making trusts and organisations. The post holder will also work with our Marketing Manager, capturing and using impact data to create compelling reports that bring to life the value of our work and tell engaging stories about the participants we support.

The role will also include:

Identifying and interrogating the suitability of funding opportunities from a range of grant giving organisations, trusts and foundations

Liaising with potential and existing funders

Managing general donor enquiries accurately and efficiently

Preparing end of project reports and progress updates for funders

Maintaining the fundraising donor database in line with GDPR and industry best practice

Undertaking consultation and research to support funding applications

Collaborating to market and promote our work where required

Participating in team meetings and external meetings

Attending monthly one to one’s and annual appraisal meetings to support personal and organisational development.
