Here’s What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting clients in daily living activities, promoting independence and well-being
- Providing person-centred care across supported living, autism, mental health, clinical care, rehabilitation units, and settings with behaviours that challenge
- Building positive relationships with clients to foster trust and respect
- Assisting in maintaining a safe and supportive environment at all times
- Adhering to care plans and ensuring all care and support meet health and safety standards
- Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals as needed
Here Are the Skills You’ll Need:
- Previous experience in a healthcare or support worker role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate approach to care
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including early, late, long days, and sleep-ins
- Ability to work well in both team settings and independently
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining high standards of care and support
