Summary
Transport Planner - Maidstone Location: Maidstone, Kent Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour Shift Options: Choose between 06:00 - 18:00 or 18:00 - 06:00 The Best Connection is seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join one of our clients, a well-established produce warehouse based in Linton.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and plan the transportation of goods to meet deadlines and customer requirements. Communicate with drivers, customers, and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations. Monitor deliveries and resolve any logistical issues promptly. Maintain accurate records of routes, schedules, and vehicle usage. Ensure compliance with transport regulations and company policies. Requirements: Proven experience in a transport planning role (essential). Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in transport management systems and software is an advantage. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Benefits: Competitive pay rate of £14.00 per hour.
