We have an exciting opportunity for a Careers and Employability Advisor to join our college community. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in guiding and supporting our diverse student body towards successful careers. Your expertise will help students explore their career aspirations, develop employability skills, and secure meaningful employment opportunities. As a pivotal member of our team, you will contribute to our mission of empowering individuals through education and enhancing our community's economic prosperity.

About your role:
As a Careers and Employability Advisor at City of Bristol College, you will play a crucial role in delivering a professional and student-centred Career Education, Information, Advice, and Guidance (CEIAG) service. Your primary objective will be to inspire individuals by showcasing the diverse opportunities available in education, training, and employment. You'll provide inclusive support tailored to individual needs, fostering aspirations and facilitating positive student outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with Gatsby Benchmarks, Matrix Standards, and Ofsted requirements across the college. Collaborating closely with teaching staff and personal development tutors, you will embed careers guidance into the curriculum and support the design and delivery of comprehensive careers programmes and workshops. Engaging with local labour market information, you'll empower students to make informed decisions about their career paths.
Additionally, you will contribute to progression activities, monitor student attendance and progress, and facilitate workshops on essential employability topics. Your efforts will contribute to high application to enrolment conversions and positive student destinations.About us:
