WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

We are seeking an experienced Digital Manager to join our Group Corporate Affairs team. This role is an integral part of our Digital team, responsible for managing the Group's website -our primary window to the corporate brand.

Key accountabilities:

  • Oversee the Group's website.

  • Bring our strategy, purpose, and values to life through engaging content.

  • Enhance the Group's reputation by creatively showcasing our corporate brand.

  • To drive innovation and keep up to date with digital trends.

We're looking for an experienced Digital Manager to join our team permanently. This role spans key areas of our website and business, including Investor Relations and People & Places. As a Digital Manager, you'll collaborate with stakeholders to keep content fresh, support campaigns and Group results, and drive technical advancements. We're seeking a digital enthusiast with a keen interest in user experience, user interface, and artificial intelligence.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Content Management: Use Adobe AEM CMS to upload and optimise content daily.

  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the Digital Delivery Manager to plan updates, enhancing website performance and staying ahead of trends.

  • SEO & Analytics: Leverage SEO, analytics, and KPIs to drive website success, while supporting technical website management.

  • Accessibility Champion: Utilise tools like Crownpeak to ensure an inclusive user experience for all.

  • Attention to Detail: Ensure consistency across webpages, maintaining impeccable spelling and grammar, whilst making the pages more visually cohesive.

  • Adaptability: Juggle multiple tasks and challenges within the Digital and Social ecosystem with ease.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Present confidently to senior stakeholders, keeping them informed about our progress and improvements.

What You'll Need:

  • CMS Expertise: A deep passion for all things digital and extensive experience working with a CMS.

  • SEO and Analytics Knowledge: Familiarity with SEO and analytics is essential. Experience with tools like Adobe Analytics, SEMrush, and Contentsquare is highly desirable.

  • Accessibility Champion: Proficiency in using accessibility tools such as Crownpeak to optimise pages for diverse user needs.

  • User Experience and Interface Skills: Experience in building pages from scratch and understanding user navigational journeys.

  • Technical Expertise: The ability to identify development needs and collaborate with the team to implement solutions.

  • Curiosity for AI: A keen interest in AI and its applications in digital transformation, always looking for ways to integrate intelligent systems to enhance user experience.

  • Relationship Building: Strong skills in building rapport and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels, fostering a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

  • Pressure Management: The ability to remain communicative, calm, and adaptable under pressure in the fast-paced digital environment.

  • Confidence with Senior Stakeholders: Comfort in presenting to senior leaders, educating, and influencing them as channel experts.

  • Channel Knowledge: Awareness of the nuances of creating and engaging content across various digital channels.

  • Proactive: Actively seek opportunities to apply digital trends and knowledge for best user experiences.
