The school is a culturally diverse school providing education to pupils aged 3-11. To continue to develop our excellent offer to children we wish to appoint versatile, enthusiastic and experienced classroom practitioners to provide support to children across the school with special educational needs.

We are looking for colleagues who:-

• enjoy working with children
• have experience of working with children with special educational needs
• are committed to raising standards
• have excellent communications skills
• hold GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English Language (preferable)
• have a minimum Level 2 qualification in a relevant field
• are flexible, enthusiastic and motivated

They will be required to:

• work in collaboration with class teachers
• work with the Special Needs Co-ordination team
• contribute to records kept on pupil progress
• discuss how the children cope with their work with the SENCO and class teachers
• cater for the personal needs of SEN children
