Summary
The governors of Seely Primary & Nursery School are looking to appoint an Assistant Attendance Officer for 5 mornings per week, (20hrs). The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 12.30 pm (term time only), to start as soon as possible after interview. This post is initially temporary for 1 year but there is every possibility that it could be made permanent in the future should this model work well for school.The priorities for this post are to (working alongside our Attendance Team):Improve levels of attendance for all pupils
Reduce student absence and to engage with families to support them to ensure they fulfil their legal responsibilities.
Promote a positive attendance and punctuality culture at School.
The successful candidate will:
Be able to work independently or as part of a teamHave a welcoming personality and polite helpful manner
Be hardworking, flexible, punctual, reliable and trustworthy
Have excellent literacy and numeracy skills
Be able to demonstrate highly competent ICT skills
Have good organisational, multi tasking and communication skills
Be enthusiastic about working in a school environment
