Summary
We need a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join an Ofsted-rated "Good" secondary school in Bath.
This large mainstream secondary school boasts a supportive cover team and teaching staff. The school is continuously improving and offers comprehensive CPD opportunities throughout the year. While the school includes a sixth form, this role will predominantly involve teaching key stage 3 and key stage 4 classes.
This opportunity is open to both recent graduates and experienced cover supervisors. Based on performance, there is potential for the contract to be extended or made permanent.
Contract Details
- Location: Bath
- Position: Cover Supervisor
- Start Date: January 2025
- Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:20am to 4:00pm
- Pay Rate: £100 - £120 per day, depending on experience
Requirements:
- Recent graduate with a 2:1 degree or higher
- Previous experience working in a UK school setting
- Up-to-date safeguarding training completed within the past year
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable but not essential
Eligibility Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service (or willingness to process a new application)
- Two professional references covering the last two years, including experience working with children
