Access Lock & Key Service are seeking a trainee Key Cutter and Locksmith. We have been offering locksmiths services for over 40 years to the East Kent Area along with an established Mail Order and Ecommerce Platforms. The role is varied with work carried out in our shop, workshop, sales office and assisting locksmiths with on-site work.
This is a very rewarding role which requires good problem solving skills, attention to detail and high levels of customer service. Full training will be provided, but will require practice in your own time to build confidence and skills.
This role will consist of three main elements, Shop / Retail area where the candidate will be expected to greet customers and assist with their requirements, from key cutting to sourcing products. The second area of work would be in our sales office where orders and customer enquiries are processed via phone or email, contact with suppliers will also be required via websites or sourcing products via telephone. The last area of work is our workshop, with time and plenty of on job training the candidate will start to work on locks and keys.
