Summary
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced legal secretary to join our administrative team based at our Barrow office. The role will involve all aspects of secretarial and administrative work supporting our fee earners.
The right candidate must be proven to be hardworking with a "can do" approach and able to work as part of our administrative team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high level support to fee earners – including administration, production of documents, diary management, billing and all other tasks required by the fee earners.
Provide a professional and friendly service to clients – including answering calls, responding to emails and meeting clients.
Communicate effectively with fee earners and colleagues ensuring tasks and messages are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
Ensuring all new prospective clients / business opportunities are processed quickly and efficiently.
Follow all firm policies, procedures and requirements – this includes maintaining the client database and following compliance regulations
Any other required tasks
Experience:
Experience of working within a law firm (strong advantage)
Experience of working with a case management system
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload
A good level of IT competency, including Microsoft Office Suite
