Devops Architect

Role:

- Responsible for leading the design, implementation & maintenance of DevOps infrastructure.
- To ensure DevOps systems are scalable, secure and reliable
- Maintaining documentation relating to Devops Systems
- Design and develop scalable, secure and robust DevOps architectures
- Create and optimise continuous integration and delivery pipelines
- Automate build, test and deployment processes to enhance efficiency
- Implement monitoring and logging best practices.
- Proactively identify and resolve system bottlenecks and performance issues and work with the relevant teams to resolve
- Ensure all systems comply with industry standards and regulations
- Implement security best practices within Devops processes and infrastructure as code

Skills:

- Demonstrable experience in Devops role, at an architecture level
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as bash or python
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
- Knowledge Docker or Kubernetes
- Extensive experience with configuration management tooling: Ansible
- Extensive experience with infrastructure as code tooling: Terraform, Bicep
- Extensive experience of CI/CD Tooling: Gitlab
- Understanding of microservices architecture and Restful API’s
- ITIL V3 Foundation accreditation
