Summary


The Women’s Health Service have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and committed individual to develop and support the leadership within the fertility nursing team at the ‘Homerton Fertility Centre’

You should be amotivated individual with excellent communication skills as well as excellent negotiating skills and provide a high-quality service to our fertility patients andthis is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic person with a proven background and experience within a fertility or gynaecology service.

The post holder will be part of the senior leadership team and work closely with the lead consultant, head of nursing , operational manager, service manager and laboratory director with regards to the ongoing support and development of the fertility nursing team and the service.

The post is currently being offered as full-time, flexible working can be discussed and arranged

The hours of work will be covered Monday to Friday and may include the occasional Saturday

Nurse On call provision in order to meet the needs of this specialist service.

• Provide direct line management and supervision to the nursing team.
• In partnership with the head of nursing and operational manager, responsible for service development within the nursing team and delivery of service KPIs.
• Provide direct clinical nursing care and support including undertaking an extended nursing
role.
• Responsible for ensuring all activity data is completed and sent to the HFEA via electronic IDEAS system; within regulatory timescales.
