Tata Steel currently have an excellent opportunity to recruit a Manufacturing Team Member into our Tubes Operation in Corby, initially on a fixed term contract for a 6 month duration.
What you will do
As a Team Member in our Manufacturing department, you will be required to work as part of team, using the appropriate technical skills to achieve the safe manufacturing of product whilst maintaining quality and achieving customer service targets.
Tata Tube Products are one of Europe’s leading pipe suppliers with a long and successful track record in the energy industry. We offer products and services that enable energy resources to be extracted, transported, processed and distributed all the way to the final consumer. Our products and services are specially packaged to meet our client’s needs whether they are in the Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG), Offshore Pipeline, Process Plant or Onshore Pipeline sectors of the industry.
The 3 shift pattern for this role is Monday to Friday: 7 to 3 / 3 to 11 / 11 to 7
Full training will be provided as required, to ensure full capability and competence.
What you will need
As a Team Member, you will need to demonstrate a flexible and open minded approach within the team whilst taking direction from the Team Leader in a positive and competent manner.
You be considered for this opportunity, you must meet the below criteria:
Candidates must have gained GCSE or equivalent Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above
Proven experience gained within a Manufacturing or Team Environment
Good time keeping and attendance record
Excellent communication skills both written and oral
Effective team working skills with a flexible and adaptable approach
Must be aged 18 or above due to Health and Safety regulations
A forklift truck licence and engineering skills would be advantageous
