Summary

My client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Structural Engineer with significant experience in structural inspections, surveys, and report writing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both commercial and residential projects, along with the ambition to progress within the company. The role requires someone who is chartered, proactive, and passionate about delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed structural inspections and surveys for a wide range of commercial and residential properties.
• Prepare clear, concise, and thorough structural reports based on survey findings.
• Provide expert advice and technical support to clients, project managers, and other stakeholders.
• Design, analyse, and assess structural elements, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
• Collaborate with the wider engineering team to ensure cohesive and innovative solutions.
• Contribute to business development by identifying new opportunities and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

Key Requirements:
• Chartered Structural Engineer (CEng or equivalent) with relevant qualifications and professional memberships (e.g., ICE, IStructE).
• Extensive experience in conducting structural inspections, surveys, and report writing.
• Proven track record of delivering quality work on both commercial and residential projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of structural design and analysis.
• Experience working on a variety of structural systems and materials.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information in a clear, understandable way.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
• Full UK driving license, with willingness to travel to various project sites (predominantly in Buckinghamshire).
• Strong desire for professional growth and career progression within the company.
