Ryecroft Academy are seeking to recruit an inspirational colleague to the role of Speech & Language Teaching Assistant. This role is of great importance to our work as an Academy - the successful applicant will be expected to work across all primary year groups, with children ranging from ages 3-11 years, with a specific focus on speech, language and communication development.
The ideal applicant will have:
• An NVQ 3 for Teaching Assistants or appropriate level of experience of operating in the classroom environment.
• Good numeracy/literacy skills.
• The ability to relate well to children and adults.
• Knowledge and/or experience of working with children with speech, language and communication difficulties.
