PRACTICE & PHARMACY/DISPENSARY BUSINESS MANAGER


Hours are negotiable for the right person from 30 - 37.5 hrs per week working over 4 or 5 days

Salary in the range of £50,000- £65,000 (pro-rata to hours worked) per annum, depending upon experience


An exciting opportunity has arisen for an accomplished and highly-motivated manager, with strategic vision, to join this established and respected medical practice; working alongside the partners to manage and develop the practice and pharmacy businesses.

Candidates must be conscientious, provide solid leadership and have a sound knowledge of management, leadership, finance, planning, GDPR governance and HR.

Previous management experience in primary care, leadership skills, competency in office IT and effective communication skills at all levels are essential .

This is a forward-thinking teaching, training, dispensing and research practice and early adopter of new patient services; with enviable patient reviews. The partners also have ownership of the on-site pharmacy, details of which are part of this profile as they form part of this person’s duties.

There is an inspiring team ethos and you will be supported by an excellent administrative and clinical team ensuring the smooth running of the practice and the attached pharmacy business, coordinating all areas of operations, monitoring and maintaining efficient systems and processes to ensure the practice meets its CQC and regulatory requirements.

You will also be expected to actively build relationships and work collaboratively within the PCN (Primary Care Network), having the vision, willingness and drive to adapt to NHS targets and changes within a profitable, efficient working environment.

Interviews will take remotely on Zoom on Saturday 18th January 2025

The successful applicant will be expected to meet the English language fluency requirements as outlined in the Immigration Act 2016.
