Your new role
As a Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of our company. You will be responsible for managing a team of three Management Accountants, ensuring that management accounts are completed accurately and on time. Additionally, you will handle reporting, statutory accounting, and assist the Finance Director with auditing processes,
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of three Management Accountants.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of management accounts.
  • Oversee reporting and statutory accounting functions.
  • Assist the Finance Director with auditing processes.
  • Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as a line manager.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
