Summary

Rothwell Family Support Worker - Fixed Term Until March 2026
This post is fixed term until March 2026, but we expect funding to continue beyond this point. The contract is funded on a year-to-year basis and has been in place since 2016.

Working Hours: We have some flexibility on how the 30 hours are worked across the week and this will be discussed at interview. Hours will need to be flexible to meet the needs of families.
Base Location: Victoria Junior School, Cornwall Cres, Rothwell, Leeds LS26 0RA

About the role...
Are you passionate about making a real difference to the lives of families in Rothwell and the surrounding areas? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to become part of the Rothwell Cluster.

As a Family Support Worker, you will:
Play a vital role in supporting families to achieve their goals.
You will use a variety of interventions, tailored to meet the specific needs of each family, which will make a real difference to their lives.
Working as part of a Multi-Agency team, you will collaborate with schools and Children's services to ensure a joined-up approach to achieving the best outcomes for families.
About you...
Previous experience working in a School would be hugely beneficial.
You will be passionate about helping others.
You will be family orientated.
You are able to build strong relationships with others.
You will be a strong effective communicator.
