Surgical Theatre Practitioners - are you an experienced scrub practitioner? Do you have General theatre skills or an interest in working within a dynamic General theatre team, which covers specialities such as Upper GI, Colo-rectal, Urology, Gynaecology or emergency surgery?

We are looking for enthusiastic team members who provide the highest standards of care, are forward thinking and strive to provide the best experience to patients during their perioperative journey. The potential candidate should be able to work within the multidisciplinary team of the operating theatre and be the patient’s advocate.

In return, we can support practitioners to gain the skills they need to develop in their journey.

General & Emergency theatre service are looking for an experienced, motivated, innovative, and patient focused scrub practitioner to join our amazing team.

We are looking to complete a workforce that are dynamic thinkers, have the patient's best interests at heart and can work in our theatres, including covering our 24 hour emergency service.

This is a post for a perioperative practitioner, learning and embedding the necessary skills and knowledge to enable them to participate as an active team member in a scrub role.

Whilst acquiring the specialist skills they will act as support within the peri-operative environment. The post holder will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care needs in the perioperative environment.
They will work collaboratively and co-cooperatively with others to meet the care needs of the patients.

The successful candidate will be supported into their new role with a preceptorship pack for new starters and a period of supervised practice.
